One of our clients is seeking an Accounting Expert (UK GAAP) to support an advanced AI training initiative focused on financial data analysis and automation. In this role, you will apply your professional accounting expertise to review, interpret, and label financial information in accordance with UK GAAP standards, helping improve the accuracy and reliability of AI-driven financial tools.

• Review and label financial documents in accordance with UK GAAP standards to support AI training datasets
• Apply accounting principles and disclosure checklists to ensure financial data accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science and product teams, to interpret financial disclosures and reporting structures
• Ensure all labeled data aligns with current UK GAAP requirements and accounting best practices
• Identify inconsistencies, errors, or anomalies in financial records and recommend corrective actions
• Provide feedback to improve data models and enhance AI performance in financial analysis
• Document insights on the application of UK GAAP to support ongoing development and future AI training initiatives

• Qualified Accountant or Auditor with hands‑on experience working with UK GAAP
• Regular professional use of financial disclosure checklists in accounting or audit environments
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities when interpreting financial statements
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial document review
• Ability to apply accounting principles to real‑world financial datasets
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical accounting concepts clearly

• Experience with AI training, data annotation, or data labeling projects
• Exposure to finance process automation or technology‑driven accounting workflows
• Familiarity with technology‑enabled financial reporting or analysis tools
