Senior Accountant

Unity Search has partnered with a publicly traded Fort Worth-based technology company in its search for a Senior Accountant. This person will serve as an important role in the Controllership function of the company with a focus on technical accounting and revenue recognition and will have a high level of exposure within the organization. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Provide guidance on revenue recognition by applying the requirements of ASC 606 to new and existing agreements.
• Partner with Finance and Operations teams to evaluate contractual language and ensure supporting documentation is completed accurately.
• Coordinate responses to audit requests, ensuring deliverables are submitted on time and addressing auditor inquiries effectively.
• Track compliance with SOX controls and assist with internal testing activities to validate process adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing efficiency and consistency within revenue recognition processes.
• Contribute to a variety of ad-hoc projects and initiatives as business needs arise.

Compensation for this role will depend on experience but will probably be in the $85K to $110K range + Bonus.
