Hiring for a Remote Payroll Clerk with a manufacturing company!
Job Title:
Payroll Clerk
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Clerk for a fully remote, three-month contract position. You will play a crucial role in supporting the payroll functions while an employee is on extended leave. This role requires you to have your own equipment, specifically a computer with Windows 10 or 11.
Essential Skills- 1+ years of experience handling payroll through Workday.
- Proficiency in payroll processing and data entry.
- Experience with payroll tax, Workday, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- An associate's degree in HR, Accounting, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience in audit, support, governance, HR benefits, analysis, payroll accounting, and accounts payable.
- Enter and approve all core HR, payroll, time off, absences, and time tracking data in Workday.
- Complete data checks, review output, and approve payroll before it is handed off to a third party for processing.
- Collaborate with a third-party payroll processor to ensure all data is accurate.
- Perform data entry for approximately 400 invoices daily.
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly payroll processes for multi-state and multi-national payroll.
This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, IL.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
