We are looking for a Senior Accountant who enjoys working with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This role is about more than just numbers; it’s about being a reliable partner for business owners and helping relieve the stress that comes with managing their finances. You’ll be the point person for their monthly accounting, ensuring everything is accurate, reconciled, and easy for them to understand.

• Monthly Bookkeeping:
  Managing the full accounting cycle for a variety of SMB clients.
• Journals & Reconciliations:
  Handling general ledger entries and reconciliations, with a specific focus on accurate footing and ledger integrity.
• Compliance:
  Managing payroll, sales tax filings, and 1099s to keep clients in good standing.
• Client Support:
  Acting as a direct, helpful point of contact. You’ll answer questions and provide the clarity business owners need to run their companies effectively.
• Reporting:
  Preparing clear financial reports that give owners a real look at their business health.

• CPA Firm
  
  Experience:
  
  3+ years of experience in a CPA firm is preferred.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Quick Books Online is a significant plus.
• SMB Expertise: A solid understanding of the accounting needs and challenges unique to small and medium-sized businesses.
• Personal Style:
  You are focused, professional, and have a "customer service" mindset. You enjoy solving problems and helping people.
• Education:
  
  A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, but not required if you have the right hands-on experience.
