Position Summary:

Eskola, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as an entry-level Accounts Payable Clerk. This hybrid position offers a combination of in-office and remote work. The ideal candidate is eager to begin their accounting career and grow within the construction industry while supporting the accounting team with high volume invoice processing and general bookkeeping tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
• Assist with reviewing and coding invoices
• Route invoices for approval and track their status
• Help prepare payments via check, ACH, EFT, and vendor portals
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice questions
• Assist with month-end closing tasks
• Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate's degree in Accounting or Business preferred

Experience:

• 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience (internships welcome)

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with accounting software is a plus but not required
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
