Remote Payroll​/Accounting

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with labor laws
• Assist in processing vendor and customer invoices, payments, and general daily accounting routines
  
  Prepare and review state and local tax filings, maintaining compliance with applicable tax laws
• Reconcile bank accounts and payroll accounts, preparing financial statements and internal reports
• Respond to tax notices and resolve discrepancies, coordinating benefits deductions and payroll adjustments

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Payroll, or a related field
• Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience
• Minimum of 2+ years of payroll experience, including payroll processing and tax compliance
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and GAAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a capacity to collaborate across departments

• Experience with accounting and payroll software (e.g., Business Central, Dayforce, Paylocity)
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll and tax compliance
• Leadership experience strongly preferred
