The Senior Accountant will play a key role within the Audit team, supporting the successful completion of client audit, review, and compilation engagements. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, people-first culture focused on professional excellence and relationship building. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented CPA with a background in public accounting and proven audit experience who is looking to advance within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute compilation, review, and audit engagements for a variety of clients.
- Examine records to ensure transactions are properly authorized, recorded, and compliant with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Prepare detailed audit findings and reports, along with recommendations for client improvements.
- Supervise and review staff work during engagements, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Conduct research on audit and accounting topics of moderate complexity.
- Assist in the training and development of professional staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Must-Haves:
- Active CPA or CPA candidate.
- Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
- Demonstrated audit experience (required).
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (Accounting preferred).
- Solid understanding of audit and attest services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with tax preparation or review is a plus.
- CPA (active or candidate).
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience.
- Audit experience (required).
- Hybrid work structure: 60% in-office, 40% remote.
