Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Accounting Manager role based in Charlotte, NC, with hybrid work flexibility, allowing a combination of in-office and remote work. The Accounting Manager will serve as an ambassador for the firm, demonstrate polished communications skills, a professional and positive attitude and confident command of accounting rules.
Responsibilities- Provide mentorship for accounting team, reviewing monthly/quarterly deliverables to ensure timeliness of client engagements.
- Reviews and prepares as needed and ensures the accuracy of monthly, accounting client financials and year-end process.
- Conducts new and established client meetings.
- Prepares scopes for large projects, delegates and manages workflow through span of project.
- Provides business advisory strategy to client base, researching, analyzing and developing best practices for complex entities.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements using GAAP accounting standards
- Strong analytical skills for identifying trends, problem‑solving, and decision‑making
- Experience with journal entries, fixed assets management, and general accounting practices
- Knowledge of finance principles and their applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage priorities effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is strongly preferred
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
