Position: Accounting Intern (Remote)

The Financial Accounting department at Care First manages day to day functions of the accounting cycle including account reconciliations, journal entries, account research and analysis, and the month end account close process.

** _This is a year-round internship. The ideal candidate is someone who can commit to work throughout the year (Spring/Fall - minimum 15-20 hours per week and 30-40 hours per week in the Summer).  The anticipated start date for our Summer cohort will be in late May or early June 2026._*
* ** Principal Accountabilities:*
* + Assist with monthly journal entry preparation by specified deadlines.

+ Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations by specified deadlines.

+ Assist with any other day-to-day tasks as assigned.

This internship will provide an opportunity to work in a professional environment and participate in a variety of functions to obtain firsthand experience relative to most organizations.

** Qualifications

Required:

* This position requires an individual working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in an accredited college or university. We are looking for students seeking degrees in Accounting with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

** Salary Range:**  $18,720 - $26,000
