Role DescriptionInorganic Ventures is seeking a full‑time Senior Accountant for a hybrid role based in Christiansburg, VA, with the flexibility to work from home on an agreed‑upon schedule. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing the month‑end close process, preparing financial statements, developing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include managing audits, analyzing financial information, and providing insights to support decision‑making processes within the organization.
Qualifications- Proficiency in financial accounting, ledger management, and budgeting
- Knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory standards such as GAAP
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience in financial data analysis
- Experience with accounting software and tools, along with technical skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present financial data
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience; experience in manufacturing or similar industries is a plus
