This role is crucial for managing comprehensive financial operations for our US-based clients, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards while supporting strategic business decisions. As a key player in our financial team, you will liaise with various stakeholders to enhance financial governance and reporting accuracy.

Your expertise will help ensure the integrity of financial operations and support compliance across multiple entities in a dynamically evolving environment.

Accountabilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Maintain general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L analysis
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Manage federal, state, and local corporate tax filings in the US
Prepare documentation for tax returns, audits, and regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, IRS regulations, and internal controls
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
Review vendor invoices, reconciliations, and ensure timely payment cycles
Work with accounting systems such as Quick Books, Sage, Net Suite, or Xero
Maintain audit-ready documentation and organized financial records
Implement best practices for data integrity, reporting, and financial governance

Requirements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Mandatory
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Prior experience managing accounts for US-based entities is highly preferred
Strong exposure to US GAAP, corporate taxation, and audit processes
In-depth knowledge of US federal and state tax laws
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, Xero, etc.)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
Strong written and verbal communication in English
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
