Senior Revenue Accountant

Our client, a leader in the Utilities and Renewable Energy sector, is seeking a dedicated Senior Revenue Accountant to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting revenue recognition and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, aligning successfully within a diverse and inclusive organization.

* + Manage and execute month-end close activities related to revenue recognition

+ Support automation initiatives using Power Query to streamline processes

+ Assist with technical aspects of AR and Revenue Accounting

+ Participate in projects and research to improve accounting practices

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and accuracy

** What's Needed?*
* + Proven experience in revenue accounting or related finance roles

+ Strong automation experience with Power Query

+ Knowledge of Netsuite or similar ERP systems is a plus

+ Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

+ Experience supporting month-end close processes and project research
