Position:
Looking for 2 Accountants preferably located in Johor Bahru Job Responsibilities
- Reports to Finance Manager and Group CFO
- Prepare and maintain the full set of accounts for assigned group companies
- Perform month-end, and year-end closing, including preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules
- Assist in audit, including preparation of responses to queries and supporting documentation
- Process AP transactions and follow up AR
- Prepare and issue billing invoices for assigned company and liaise with lab manager on billing matter where required
- Review and process petty cash claims and staff reimbursements
- Support Singapore GST and tax matters at preparation level
- Follow up with Myanmar subsidiary on accounting information
- Perform ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned
- Min. Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 3-5 year of experience in similar role
- Prior experience in Construction industry preferred
- Experience in handling multiple entities is preferred
- IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Team player
- Able to work from home independently
- Able to report to our Singapore office anticipated t o be once a week
- Must be staying in JB or near
- Cost of trip to Singapore will be reimbursable.
- Renumeration between RM3,500 to RM4,500 monthly
- Laptop will be provided.
