Posting, Recording, and Booking of All Business Transactions, including Account Reconciliation
You will be responsible for assigning invoices to the correct accounts, entering transactions into the accounting software, and booking all invoices to their respective accounts. You will also perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of balances. This forms the basis for financial statements and ensures proper bookkeeping.
Preparation of Quarterly VAT Returns
You will support the reporting and remittance of monthly and quarterly VAT amounts.
Preparation of Monthly and Annual Financial Statements
You will collect and verify supporting documents, record invoices, handle accruals and deferrals, reconcile accounts, and contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
Processing of Payments and Cash Management
You will ensure secure, efficient, and accurate processing of all financial transactions, including preparing and executing payment instructions for incoming and outgoing payments, handling transfers, direct debits, and card payments, reconciling accounts, and monitoring payment deadlines.
Preparation and Creation of Budget Planning and Cost Calculations
You will support the collection and analysis of financial data and help develop detailed budget plans across various departments. This includes calculating fixed and variable costs, considering risks and contingencies, and monitoring and adjusting the budget throughout the fiscal year.
Completed training as a
Tax Clerk (m/f/d)or a commercial apprenticeship, or you are a motivated
career changer
.
Strong affinity for numbers and excellent logical reasoning.
Confident and experienced use of
MS Office
, especially
Excel
.
Strong communication skills in
German and English
.
Highly organized, able to work independently, and ready for new challenges.
