The Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role is responsible for maintaining general edger accounts, performing reconciliations, supporting month end close, and contributing to ongoing process improvements. The Staff Accountant will report to our Accounting Manager and work with cross-functional teams across the organization.

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Support preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.

• Perform and document reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts, including cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, inventory, and accruals.
• Investigate and resolve variances in a timely manner.

• Assist with invoice coding, entry, and review as needed.
• Support collections activities, billing processes, and vendor and customer account reconciliations.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment processing and issue resolution.

• Assist with inventory reconciliations between 3PL, Net Suite, and internal systems.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and variance investigations.

• Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with accounting policies and controls.
• Help document and refine accounting procedures, improving efficiency and accuracy.
• Support implementation and optimization of Net Suite and related tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; consumer products or e-commerce industry experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with Net Suite preferred; proficiency in Excel required.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
