We are actively looking for a detail‑oriented and analytical Accountant II to join our Operations Finance team  this role, you will support core operational accounting processes, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and play a key part in our month‑end close cycle. We’re looking for someone with strong foundational accounting knowledge, the ability to navigate complex data, and a continuous improvement mindset that aligns with our culture of operational excellence.

Qualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office.

• Conduct AP liability reviews to ensure proper cutoff and completeness, resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal partners.
• Prepare and review inventory‑related account reconciliations, ensuring alignment between the subledger and general ledger.
• Support excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis, including reserve calculations, variance explanations, and quarterly operational reviews.
• Complete intercompany receivable and payable reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of differences. Collaborate with domestic and international affiliates to confirm settlements.
• Assist with month‑end revenue cutoff procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and proper revenue recognition.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation for monthly financial close activities.
• Maintain assigned balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with internal control standards.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and providing required documentation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across operational accounting activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in operations, manufacturing, or corporate accounting.

• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger structure.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems (Oracle, EPM, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in cost accounting or inventory accounting.
• Familiarity with intercompany processes in multi‑entity organizations.
• Experience with financial close management tools (e.g., Oracle ARCS, Black Line).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across functions.

This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

$65,400 - $83,300. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.
