Tax Accountant

TAX ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for an energized and engaged individual with a “work hard/play hard” mindset and exceptional communication skills to join our firm as a Tax Accountant. The ideal person can manage their workload, as well as work with other team members to provide quality service to every client.

• 1-3 years in public accounting or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or EA certification or working towards CPA or EA certification
• Well-rounded knowledge of accounting concepts
• Experience with Quick Books and Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage workload, priority shifts, timelines and client requests

• Tax return preparation (individual, S Corporation, C Corporation & Partnership)
• Direct communication with federal, state and local tax agencies
• Manage all aspects of client’s accounts
• Utilize software, systems and processes to provide accurate reports and tax returns within the necessary timeframe
• Accounting services using Quick Books to complete bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and financial statements
• Build relationships with clients through knowledge sharing, dependability and communication skills
• Ensure various components of the tax process are completed – including tax projections, tax returns and special projects
• Identify areas that would benefit our clients’ financial growth
