Senior Accountant – Accounting & Advisory

Are you a Senior Accountant ready to step into a true client advisory role?

You'll work across a diverse portfolio of clients, handling everything from complex month-end closes and financial statement preparation to forward-looking advisory and performance reporting. This isn't just accounting. It's partnering with business owners to understand their operations, identify what the numbers are telling them, and help them make better decisions. The work requires full-spectrum accounting knowledge, strong critical thinking, and the judgment to know when to dig into the details and when to step back for the big picture.

• Strategic Advisor: Participate in and help lead monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc advisory calls with clients. Translate financials into clear, actionable insights that help business owners understand their numbers and make informed decisions. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improved reporting. Support quarterly KPI tracking and reset processes, contribute to cash flow forecasts, and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages with commentary scaled to each client.

  :
  Own the full accounting cycle for complex clients, including preparation of Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Statements of Cash Flows, and serve as a reviewer across all client stages. Triage and resolve accounting errors with sound judgment, prioritizing materiality and client impact. Books delivered by the 20th calendar day, every month.

✓ 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including client-facing or public accounting work

✓ Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting and strong working knowledge of GAAP

✓ Comfortable working across different client environments and accounting platforms (we run on QBO and Fathom) and familiarity is a plus though not required if you're adaptable

✓ CPA preferred; actively pursuing licensure or equivalent experience considered

✓ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or similar field

✓ You're eager to engage directly with business owners, translating numbers into conversations
