Interim Audit Preparation Consultant

Our client, a rapid?growth consumer health and nutrition company, is seeking an Interim Audit Preparation Consultant to support external audit readiness and related technical accounting activities.

This role is 100% remote. This engagement has an expected duration of 2-3 months, with the potential for extension.

• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, managing communication, timelines, and audit requests.
• Lead preparation of audit deliverables, including PBC schedules and supporting documentation.
• Maintain and track the audit request list to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
• Prepare and review roll?forwards, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support technical accounting matters and assist with IFRS‑related reporting needs.
• Assist with purchase price accounting and post?acquisition accounting activities.
• Partner with internal teams to strengthen audit?ready processes and documentation standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve audit efficiency and streamline close processes.
• Extract and prepare financial data from Quick Books and other relevant systems for audit use.
• Support ad hoc audit and accounting projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–10+ years of accounting experience, including significant audit preparation or audit?heavy roles.
• Strong experience managing audit workflows and coordinating external audits.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, roll?forwards, and technical accounting concepts.
• Hands?on experience with Quick Books.
