Virtue Staff is on the lookout for a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations for our clients. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in bookkeeping practices and a strong understanding of financial reporting.

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and monthly reports
• Reconcile bank statements and track financial discrepancies
• Utilize accounting software for efficient data management and reporting
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities
• Coordinate with clients to resolve financial issues and inquiries
• Ensure all financial records are organized and compliant with regulations

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero)
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Certifications (such as CPA or similar) are a plus but not required
