Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this hybrid Contract to permanent role, you will play a vital part in handling financial transactions and claims processing, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency. The position involves a mix of onsite and remote work, with office attendance required on Mondays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities:

- Process approximately 250 invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

- Manage claims payments, following established procedures to guarantee timely and correct processing.

- Perform check runs and oversee the issuance of payments as needed.

- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics NAV for financial data management and processing tasks.

- Enter and code invoices accurately into the system for seamless reconciliation.

- Conduct account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and address any payment-related concerns.

- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.

- Follow business casual dress code and adhere to company policies during onsite work. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

- Proficiency in Dynamics NAV and other accounting software such as Quick Books, SAP, or Oracle.

- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting purposes.

- Ability to process claims payments and follow detailed instructions effectively.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with coding invoices and reconciling accounts.

- Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.

- All candidates required to undergo relevant pre-employment assessments.
