Position Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt
As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for processing unreported income and repayments for Tenant Based Assistance clients. Part of this work will include entering tenant payments into the Receipting system, batching payments, entering and reconciling payments for Port-Ins and processing incoming mail. To thrive in this role, you’ll need skill in organizing and managing a significant flow of invoices and payments, along with the ability to establish and maintain necessary records and prepare clear and concise reports.
You’ll need experience communicating with people (staff, vendors, and others) of all backgrounds.
As an Accounting Technician, you will learn how the HASCO Finance team supports the entire agency by accurate accounting of all funds and providing the required reports for auditors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly sit, talk and/or hear. The employee will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision.
Work will be performed at the main office in Everett, WA, and will be in an indoor, office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will operate standard office equipment including computers, telephones, and related equipment. There is potential for part‑time remote work upon successful completion of training and probation.
