Property Accountant Needed - $85K-$120K - Growing Non Profit

We are a growing non-profit based out of Washington, DC that's looking for a Property Accountant!

Salary $80,000 - $90,000 per year

• $80,000-$90,000 Base Salary + Bonus
• Hybrid Work Schedule (2 days remote / 3 days remote during off season)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA license.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance; with a strong preference for specialized experience in real estate, multi-family development, property management, affordable housing and LIHTC.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Proficiency with all MS Office software including advanced Excel capabilities (i.e. formulas and functions).
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and accounting for investments.
