Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid – 2 days in office)
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + Bonus

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join a growing healthcare-focused organization. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls. This hybrid role allows the Senior Accountant to work from home most of the week while collaborating in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain general ledger transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Identify process improvements and assist with ad-hoc accounting projects.
• Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounting functions as needed.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting required; CPA preferred or in progress
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, or high-growth companies
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close procedures
