Overview

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives on accuracy, and wants to contribute to a high-performing finance team. You’ll handle core accounting functions, payroll, accounts payable, and expense management while supporting financial reporting and compliance.

Planisware currently has a hybrid policy of working in the office four days per week, Monday-Thursday, with remote work allowed on Friday.

Your Impact
  • General Accounting: Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close. Provide support for international operations to maintain compliance and facilitate smooth financial processes.
  • Payroll: Oversee and/or process payroll and associated reporting, including commission and benefit reports, ensure compliance, and act as liaison between HR and Finance.
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, manage approvals, and maintain internal controls.
  • Expense Reimbursements: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist with audits, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and payroll laws.
  • Proficiency in Quick Books and ADP.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred
  • 3 years of payroll experience.
  • Experience calculating and managing commission plans and payouts.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience implementing or integrating new tools and technologies.
  • Experience managing foreign subsidiaries and supporting entity consolidations.
