What You Will Do
In this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products. By providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries, you will be working toward advancing our goal of Powering Prosperity Around the World.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language.
- Work in a virtual, customer-facing environment, using state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers, and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
Who You Are
Requirements and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software.
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills, written and spoken.
- Passion for helping clients navigate taxation complexities and commitment to enhancing Intuit's brand by delighting customers.
- Excellent customer service skills and excitement to interact with customers through video and audio tools professionally, friendly, and confidently.
What You Need
Prerequisites:
- Must have or be willing to obtain an internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
Compensation
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package for this position, with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this role is:
- Bay Area, CA: $28.80 - $36.50
- Southern CA: $28.80 - $36.50
- Colorado: $27.50 - $34.80
- Hawaii: $28.80 - $36.50
- Illinois: $27.50 - $34.80
- Maryland: $27.50 - $34.80
- Massachusetts: $28.80 - $36.50
- Minnesota: $24.80 - $30.30
- New Jersey: $28.80 - $36.50
- New York: $28.80 - $36.50
- Ohio: $24.80 - $30.30
- Vermont: $27.50 - $34.80
- Washington: $28.80 - $36.50
- Washington DC: $28.80 - $36.50
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with applicable plans and programs. Pay is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit also conducts regular pay equity comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
