Intuit is hiring a fully remote Seasonal Tax Expert. Applicants must have an active PTIN and an unrestricted credential (CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney). The position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week spread across three or more days.

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products, providing advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language.
• Interact with customers through video and audio tools, documenting interactions to maintain accurate records.

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns with commercial tax preparation software.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Passionate about helping clients navigate complex taxation and dedicated to enhancing Intuit’s brand by delivering excellent customer service.
• Excellent customer service skills and proficiency with video and audio tools in a professional, confident manner.

• Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week across three or more days.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range varies by location:

• Bay Area, California: $27.80 – $35.50 per hour
• Southern California: $27.80 – $35.50 per hour
• Colorado: $26.50 – $33.80 per hour
• Hawaii: $27.80 – $35.50 per hour
• Illinois: $26.50 – $33.80 per hour
• Massachusetts: $27.80 – $35.50 per hour
• Minnesota: $23.80 – $29.30 per hour
• New Jersey: $27.80 – $35.50 per hour
• New York: $27.80 – $35.50 per hour
• Ohio: $23.80 – $29.30 per hour
• Vermont: $26.50 – $33.80 per hour
