Experienced Bookkeeper Part-time

• On-boarding new clients and assisting with implementation of accounting and bookkeeping services
• Primary day-to-day client communication and problem resolution
• Ensuring timely and accurate client communication and deliverables
• Reviewing and recording monthly transactions, performing reconciliations, preparing monthly closing entries
• Reviewing and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Assisting with payroll processing
• Monitoring and advising clients on their financial status
• Preparing budgets and forecasts
• Assessing staffing and workloads, prioritizing department tasks and projects while fostering a professional team approach to client service
• Assisting and preparation of files in other client services, including audit and tax engagements
• Maintain positive client relationships and work with the department to support new client development

• 5-7 years’ experience in bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of accounting
• Strong knowledge of Quick Books desktop and online versions
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrated history of reliability and ability to maintain client
• Hours:
  
  up to 20 hours per week (flexible workdays)
• $30 per hour
