* Job Summary:

** The Senior Accountant role is responsible for performing complex accounting tasks, supporting the firm’s accounting processes, and assisting with month-end close procedures. This position provides leadership to accounting personnel and is responsible for the company’s financial procedures, records, and statements for compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP). This position reports to the Manager of Accounting.

Assist with other duties and special projects as requested##

** Proficiency with internal control concepts

Experience collaborating with external auditors Meets commitments and deadlines, ability to work remotely, accepts accountability, handles change, sets personal standards, and stays focused under pressure Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills

Deals with others in a straightforward and honest manner, is accountable for actions, supports Company values, and conveys good news and bad. Can be proactive with seeking guidance as needed Ability to travel to Tampa Headquarters or other meeting locations occasionally
* ** Bachelor's degree in accounting required**
* ** 3-5 years of related accounting experience required**
* ** Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel required**
* ** Workday Financials experience required**
* ** CPA or pursuing CPA is preferred
*** Experience with a professional services organization a plus
* Experience with private equity backed organization a plus
* Experience with a middle market organization preferred
