About The Position
We are looking for a Corporate Accountant, seeking an experienced External Accountant (CPA) to support accurate financial reporting, US tax compliance, and scalable accounting processes as we operate now in Quick Books Online, and in Net Suite long-term

Responsibilities- Perform daily General Ledger entries for costs and revenue: correct allocation to accounting accounts and cost centers, tax rates, etc.
- Maintain and review General Ledger and financial records in accordance with US GAAP, including cost and revenue entries, fixed assets and amortisation, preparing provisions, accruals, etc.
- Perform inventory accounting
- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements:
Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Statement - Maintain the accrual and cash-basis accounting, including revenue recognition and expense matching
- Reconcile bank and payment processor statements, and marketplace sales
- Support multi-state sales tax compliance and filings
- Coordinate federal and state tax reporting with tax advisors
- Support audits, reviews, and financial controls
- Provide financial insights to support cash flow and operational decisions
- Education:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting and/or Finance - Active CPA license from the USA
- Experience:
5+ years in an independent Accounting role, with responsibility for the full company s accounting, working for US-based clients. Preferred sectors: e-commerce, retail, or alternatively logistics or manufacturing - Strong experience with e-commerce accounting and multi-state sales tax
- Nice to have:
Prior experience as an external accountant or advisor for fast-growing companies - Skills:
Accounting Skills - Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US tax regulations
- Strong experience with e-commerce accounting and multi-state sales tax
- Strong experience with both accrual and cash accounting
- Experience supporting e-commerce or multi-channel businesses preferred
- Software:
Proficiency in accounting systems: strong preference for Quick Books Online and/or Net Suite - Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, etc.)
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Nice to have: experience with sales tax automation and inventory management tools

The role is a remote position, with a 20-hour workweek, flexible working hours, and occasional overlap with the Europe team.
