Overview

Project Accountant (Remote) — Full time, United States.

In this role, you will be responsible for client invoicing and final billings ensuring the financials for each meeting are managed in a timely, accurate and compliant manner. The Project Accountant is also responsible for processing all attendee expense reimbursements, ensuring that compliance guidelines are adhered to for each account. The Project Accountant will work closely with program managers, account managers, purchasing managers and management.

The Project Accountant is also responsible for data integrity, ensuring that financial data is entered accurately into all systems as required by BCD and client-specific processes. The Project Accountant will communicate with vendors and project teams to collect receipts and program expense documentation, as well as resolve outstanding payments and clarify issues related to program expenses and assist in monthly reconciliation of programs for ToV reporting.

This position is also responsible for commission collection and client credit card reconciliation.

• Review supplier invoices for accuracy, applied discounts and completeness
• Work with account manager to resolve past due invoices and open credit memos
• Review receipts for accuracy, completeness and compliance with client guidelines
• Track commission to be collected based on commission invoices received
• Provide accurate coding as dictated by client processes
• Identify any financial discrepancies and work with the Program Manager to solve

• Previous accounting experience in A/P, A/R, and client billing is preferred
• Bachelor or Associates Degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• SAP experience a plus
• Travel industry/hotel experience a plus

At BCD Travel we value you; our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Project Accountant is between $62,000 and $65,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
