Overview

Our client, a leader in the Utilities and Renewable Energy sector, is seeking a dedicated Senior Revenue Accountant to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting revenue recognition and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, aligning successfully within a diverse and inclusive organization.

Job Title: Senior Revenue Accountant

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina or Remote

Pay Range: $60.00 - $65.00/hour

Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute month-end close activities related to revenue recognition
  • Support automation initiatives using Power Query to streamline processes
  • Assist with technical aspects of AR and Revenue Accounting
  • Participate in projects and research to improve accounting practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and accuracy
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in revenue accounting or related finance roles
  • Strong automation experience with Power Query
  • Knowledge of Netsuite or similar ERP systems is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience supporting month-end close processes and project research
