Tax Accountant

Overview

Kforce's client, a growing professional services firm specializing in outsourced accounting and tax-related services for emerging businesses and their owners in Woodmere, NY, is seeking a Tax Accountant to provide tax compliance and research services for a diverse mix of clients. This is a great opportunity to join a non-traditional accounting/tax practice at an early stage in their growth. The client offers excellent compensation, benefits and a flexible work schedule.

• Provide tax compliance and research services for a diverse mix of clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA a plus)
• 3+ years of public accounting experience including Corporate (1120) and Partnership (1065) tax preparation and compliance
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Quick Books
• CCH software knowledge preferred
• Exposure to Tax Provisions a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
