Join Siemens Digital Industries Software as Senior Director Revenue Recognition and lead a successful team that ensures compliance with our accounting standards and delivers valuable insights to our management team. You will provide general guidance & oversight on revenue transactions and further advance scalable revenue accounting processes & systems in a fast‑growing technology company.

The Director Revenue Recognition reports to the Vice President of Accounting and heads a high‑performing team that is organized in three groups responsible for technical accounting & deal review, revenue accounting & systems and transformation. We are a dynamic and collaborative accounting organization of 250+ colleagues that thrives in a fast‑paced, international environment.

• Element arrangements across Subscription, SaaS, Services, and Hardware offerings.
• Partner with product and business teams on new offerings, ensuring revenue recognition policies and processes align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in end close processes for revenue and related metrics, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition in our SAP ERP systems, account reconciliations, and reporting.
• Be responsible for the financial reporting and disclosures related to revenue, working closely with our external auditors to manage an efficient and effective audit process.
• Provide actionable insights to support key business initiatives by analyzing revenue trends and other financial metrics.
• As a member of a team that operates in a highly complex system and reporting landscape, drive continuous process improvement and lead ongoing automation and digitalization initiatives to increase scalability and efficiency.

• Have a minimum of 15 years of progressive work experience in a similar role, preferably a mix of software companies and public accounting.
• 4 public accounting firm.
• Functional projects.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal acumen and executive presence, including written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to explain complex accounting topics and financial implications to senior leadership.
• Cause issues and develop systemic solutions.
• Scale system transformations (e.g., SAP S/4
  
  HANA).
• Growth or acquisitive software environments, navigating evolving offerings, diverse systems, and global complexity.
