Work hours:

Full Time Days (8:00am-5:00pm) for 40 hrs/week (remote work allowed at manager's discretion)

• Performs general ledger accounting including maintaining general ledger accounts; preparing and reviewing journal entries; and account reconciliations. Researches and resolves discrepancies. 30%
• Participates in monthly and year-end close by gathering and analyzing data to accurately prepare and report financial information. 20%
• Conducts general budget to variance analysis. 20%
• Addresses relevant accounting questions from financial planning and financial operations. 20%
• Supports special requests and projects as directed by the leadership. 10%

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (Required)

Experience

• 2 years relevant work experience (Required)

• Maintains general ledger by journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepares and records assets, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
• Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information to auditors
• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
