Accounts Payable Clerk – Hybrid After Training – Salary is up to $60,000
Our client, a construction and specialty manufacturing leader, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team. Salary goes up to $60,000. Training will be on-site for the first three months, followed by a hybrid schedule of 1–2 days working from home. The position is in Northwest Nashville near John
C. Tune Airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain vendor profiles within the company’s ERP platforms, including Spectrum and Epicor.
- Handle the entry and processing of invoices, as well as payment applications from subcontractors.
- Manage weekly payment activities, including issuing checks, coordinating ACH transfers, and processing credit card expenses.
- Collect, organize, and monitor required documentation such as W‑9 forms and lien waivers.
- Review vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and support closing activities at the end of each month.
- Create regular accounts payable reports and assist with preparing annual 1099 filings.
- Keep financial records up‑to‑date and support accounting collaboration across departments.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred (construction or manufacturing experience a plus)
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
- Experience with Spectrum and Epicor is a plus
