Senior Accountant / GL Lead
North Nashville | Hybrid | $95K–$105K + Bonus + Profit Sharing | Work/Life Balance
Our client, a booming organization in North Nashville with over 50 years in business, is seeking a strong Senior Accountant to join its team. The salary goes up to $105,000 base plus bonus and profit sharing. Great work-life balance with a flexible hybrid schedule, including working from home one day a week. Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- The Senior Accountant will maintain general ledger responsibility, including month-end close and reconciliations
- Generate monthly financial statements and perform P&L reporting for multiple locations
- Balance sheet integrity (strong debit/credit knowledge required)
- Assist with Business licenses, property taxes, and 1099s
- Act as backup payroll support
- Review prior months’ activity and independently identify and correct issues
- Analyze profit trends and explain variances to leadership
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant
- Experience with financial statement preparation
- Ability to work on-site four days a week in North Nashville
- Great Plains or Epicor experience is a plus
