PositionAs a Real Estate Senior Accountant, you will report to an Accounting Manager and primarily review financial statements prepared by associates in Quick Books and other accounting software. You will deliver these financials and provide guidance to clients who are real estate investors and small business owners. Senior Accounting Associates will provide technical input on tax and accounting issues, train and supervise less experienced staff, and nurture client relationships.

SalarySalary Range: $73,000 - $90,000
Areas of Responsibility- Supervise a team of staff accountants to ensure quality and timely work product by clearing roadblocks, setting deadlines, managing capacity, and providing training and guidance.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the accounting framework by reviewing the work of staff accountants and providing individualized feedback and review notes for the team's betterment.
- Create, review, and deliver high-quality, timely financial statements, including dashboards, KPIs, and forecasts, to clients while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Confidently and comfortably consult with clients regularly via video conference, phone call, or email and, when needed, resolve concerns.
- Become a trusted advisor to our clients on best accounting practices and process building, and offer other firm services as needed to help them achieve their goals.
- Provide additional services to clients, including conducting weekly or monthly oversight calls and providing ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Lead efficient client onboarding utilizing project management tracking to ensure a smooth and satisfactory client experience.
- Within our firm, help identify opportunities and implement positive solutions by leveraging collaboration, technology, and automation to create a more efficient and effective work environment.
- At year-end, provide a seamless and clean hand-off of client books to our tax team for tax return preparation.
- Happiness ratings of clients using Net Promoter Scoring and client feedback
- Accuracy and quality of financials through a formal review process and comments
- Efficient management and timely production of deliverables through metric tracking
- Implementation of firm improvements (number, type, impact)

- Bachelor s or Master s in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 2-3 years senior-level review experience, preferably with real estate and small business clients.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with a team of staff accountants to produce quality deliverables and drive company culture and expectations.
- Extensive experience with Quick Books Online, Yardi, and other property management software.
- Knowledge of entity types, entity structuring, and entity transactions.
