We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team to prepare and maintain financial reports and statements and support the overall efforts of the Finance Department.

• Prepares Monthly Balance Sheets and bank reconciliations.
• Assists in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP, and internal policies and procedures are followed.
• Assist with all year-end tasks associated with timely completion of financial statements, tax returns, Medicare, and Medicaid cost reports.
• Participates in development of annual operating and capital budgets.
• Assists with work papers required for all Medicare and/or Medicaid Cost Report(s) submissions.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Ability to learn Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and PCC preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy/proficiency in data entry required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Entry level to 2 years work or internship related experience.
• Experience with in the nursing homes or healthcare sector preferred.

Starting pay is $55,000-$72,500 annually, based on experience.
