A long-standing construction supply company in Belgrade is looking to add an Accountant/Bookkeeper to their team. This is a key role for the company, as you’ll be the sole accounting and finance professional onsite, reporting directly to the General Manager and owners.

They are looking for a seasoned accounting professional to fully own the books, manage the month-end close, and prepare financials for senior leadership to support decision-making.

• Own the full accounting function for the business as the sole accounting and finance professional
• Process and oversee payroll and benefits for approximately 45 employees (in-house or outsourced)
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Oversee billing activity and ensure clean data flow between ticketing and accounting systems
• Handle month-end close and prepare financial statements
• Maintain accurate reconciliations across all balance sheet accounts
• Provide leadership with clear visibility into cash flow, AR/AP, and overall financial performance
• Partner with the outside accounting firm to support year-end reporting and compliance

• Experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or accountant
• Comfortable owning the entire accounting function as a team of one
• Close attention to detail and strong follow-through in a trust-based environment
• Background in construction, mining, trucking, or industrial accounting is a plus (but not required)
• Degree not required — hands-on experience is valued more than credentials
• Someone who takes pride in doing the work well, without needing a title or management track

• Hybrid schedule M-F and 8-5 with flexibility
• Salary of $85-95K plus discretionary bonus
