Trial Balance are pleased to be working with a new client, a well-established and respected accountancy practice, who are looking to add to their small but successful team based in Bristol. They are looking to recruit an experienced Client Portfolio Manager to take on a role offering a good degree of autonomy and a wide scope of responsibilities.

• Take responsibility for year-end accounts and tax return preparation.
• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Provide sound commercial and financial advice to clients.
• Audit small and medium-sized companies.

This isn’t a box ticking exercise though; if you bring some of the above to the table but perhaps haven’t had as much exposure to other elements, we still want to hear from you. As mentioned, this is a really open-minded employer who are able to tailor the final role to suit the skills of the successful candidate.

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA.
• Strong grounding in an accountancy practice setting.
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge that is up to date.
• Good communicator and able to fit well in a team.
