We are seeking a highly organized Bookkeeper with strong expertise in Accounts Receivable. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions while ensuring compliance with contractual terms. Beautiful offices are located in Midtown and require 2 days onsite, 3 days work from home.
Key Responsibilities- Full-cycle AR: invoice generation, posting receipts, and maintaining accurate aging reports.
- Conduct collections activities: follow up on overdue accounts, resolve disputes, and secure timely payments.
- Prepare and analyze reports for management; provide weekly updates on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies promptly.
- Review customer contracts for billing accuracy, payment terms, and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with month-end close, including account reconciliations.
- Support audits by providing documentation as needed.
- Prepare monthly financial summaries, including cash flow forecasts and AR metrics.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve client billing issues and contract disputes.
- 3+ years in accounting with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable
- Experience with contract based billing a plus
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance a plus
$25 - $30/hr, depending on experience,
