Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated accountant to join our team. The role involves supporting audit and assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, assisting in financial statement preparation, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills, gain hands‑on experience, and contribute to high‑quality client service. They would like to train this position into a tax manager in the future.
A CPA or EA (or CPA tracking with exams in progress) is required for this position.
- Assist in planning and executing audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform account reconciliations, testing of controls, and substantive audit procedures.
- Document audit findings, prepare work papers, and ensure compliance with firm and professional standards.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary documentation and resolve accounting issues.
- Support senior staff with various accounting and advisory projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA licensure in progress or achieved is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and audit procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.

$55,000 - $70,000 per year.
