Gingold & Company is a dynamic Los Angeles-based certified public accounting firm specializing in royalty audits across licensed merchandise, motion pictures, television, intellectual property, and the music recording industries.
We are growing and looking for a Royalty Analyst to join our team. This role works closely with our royalty auditing staff and management on all aspects of daily audit operations, including analyzing and reconciling sales and royalty data, performing audit testing procedures, interpreting contracts, and drafting audit reports. Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and compile historical sales and royalty data
- Reconcile payments and prepare supporting schedules
- Interpret contracts and amendments related to licensing and royalties
- Draft audit reports and summarize findings
- Collaborate with team members and management on ongoing audit projects
- 2–3 years of accounting, auditing, or royalty/licensing experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, writing, and listening skills
- Ability to read and interpret contract language
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Integrity, honesty, and a positive attitude
- * Prior audit or accounting work experience (Entertainment industry, Audit, Tax, and Bookkeeping) is preferred but not required.
- Hybrid schedule (Work from home and come to the office once a week)

- Salary $69,00.00 - $72,000.00
