We’re a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our accounting team. You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as an Accounting Associate, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, processes, systems, and controls.
The Accounting Associate is an entry-level role designed for individuals beginning their accounting career in a technology-focused environment.
This is a flexible work environment (one day per week in the Denver office). Occasional overtime may be required during month-end or quarter-end close.
THE OPPORTUNITY- Support day-to-day accounts receivable activities including cash application assistance, customer account monitoring, and collections activities including documentation preparation and customer follow-ups
- Assist with basic account reconciliations and identify discrepancies for escalation
- Support month-end close activities by preparing schedules and reports
- Maintain accurate records in Net Suite in accordance with internal controls
- Provide support for accounts payable processes, including assisting with invoice intake, employee expense reimbursements, and corporate credit card activity using the Navan platform
- Provide support for customer sales tax compliance through data gathering and documentation assistance
- Support ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned
- 1 year of experience with a foundational understanding of accounting principles or coursework in accounting or finance
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- General accounting processes and month-end close support
- Understanding of internal controls and documentation standards
- Exposure to both accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows
- Net Suite navigation and transactional processing
- Use of accounting systems, expense platforms (Navan), and reporting tools
- Professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Flexibility to work from home or in the office, depending on what works best for you

The national minimum salary is $63,750 a year + bonus. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
