This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious ACA or ACCA studier looking to develop within a modern firm that genuinely invests in its people and offers long-term progression.
About the RoleThis role offers a varied mix of accounts and audit work, providing broad exposure across a diverse client portfolio. You’ll join a friendly, supportive team in a bright, modern office environment, with flexibility, progression, and work-life balance at the heart of the firm’s approach. The role is 70% accounts and 30% audit. Prior audit experience is helpful but not essential, as full support and training will be provided.

As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior, you will take responsibility for a broad range of client work while supporting junior colleagues and building strong client relationships.
Accounts & Tax
- Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
- Preparing management accounts
- Completing bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Assisting with corporation tax computations
Audit
- Supporting statutory audit assignments
- Assisting with audit planning
- Conducting on-site and remote audit fieldwork
- Ensuring compliance with auditing standards
- Identifying issues, improvements, and opportunities
Team & Client Interaction
- Supervising and supporting junior team members
- Contributing to the development of trainees
- acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Building trusted, long-term client relationships
- Highlighting additional service needs to senior management
To succeed in this role, you will be:
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA
- Experienced (minimum 2 years) within a UK accountancy practice
- Confident with UK GAAP and core audit principles
- Comfortable managing multiple assignments and deadlines
- A strong communicator who enjoys client interaction
- Ambitious, driven, and seeking long-term progression
Experience with CCH, Sage, Xero, or Pro Audit is beneficial but not essential.
