Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will support the accounting and finance function across multiple real estate entities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who is eager to learn, take on more responsibility over time, and advance within a growing organization.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month-end adjustments
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Maintain general ledger accounts for multiple properties/entities
Assist with financial statements and management reports
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
Assist with audits, tax filings, and special projects
Collaborate with property management and operations teams
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of accounting experience (real estate experience a plus, not required)
Solid understanding of GAAP
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
