As a Senior Revenue Accountant
, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our revenue accounting processes. You will be responsible for the accurate application of cash collections, assist with balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end closing activities. Your role will involve collaborating with sales and other departments to address issues, validate data across various platforms, and contribute to reporting and process improvements.

This position requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication across teams.

• Account Reconciliation:
  Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and journal entries for month-end close.
• Cross-Department
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with sales and other departments to provide support, resolve problems, and reconcile accounts effectively.
• Data Validation:
  Validate data across third-party payment platforms, internal data warehouses, Salesforce, and Netsuite to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Reporting:
  Create and generate metrics, reports, and statements for internal use to support decision-making and financial analysis.
• Process Improvement:
  Assist with revenue team projects and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA is a nice to have but not a requirement)
• At least 5 years of experience as a Revenue Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in the SaaS/Tech industry.
• Proficiency in ASC 606 is required, as well as strong skills in data management and reconciliation, particularly when dealing with large volumes of data using third-party systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Excel (must have)
• Proficiency in Net Suite or similar accounting software.
• Experience with Salesforce and third-party payment platforms is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excitement about using emerging technologies, including AI, to drive automation and continuous improvement in accounting processes.
