Job Description
TPF Recruitment is currently supporting a highly regarded, top‑tier accounting firm with the recruitment of an Accounts Semi Senior. About the RoleAs an Accounts Semi Senior, you will play a key role in the delivery of accounts and compliance work across a varied client portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately and in line with agreed budgets and timescales, while maintaining high professional standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the effective delivery of accounts work across the service line, ensuring workflow is well managed and deadlines are met
- Managing budgets and monitoring progress on accounts assignments in progress
- Taking part in accounts planning and review meetings
- Preparing accounts to a high standard and ensuring they are ready for manager review and sign off
- Monitoring work progress and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders at each stage of an assignment
- Acting as a main point of contact for a number of clients, managing their accounts compliance and related service needs
- Attending client meetings when required
- Responding promptly to client queries and correspondence, ensuring commitments are met
- Supporting wider team initiatives and firm‑wide projects
- Accounts team members involved in the delivery of work
- Managers and partners with oversight of accounts assignments
- Client contacts and external stakeholders
- AAT qualified, or ACA or ACCA part qualified, or qualified by experience with a minimum of two years practice experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Good communication skills and a client‑focused approach
- Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Salary: £27,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
