Accounting Manager, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk

The Role
We are hiring an experienced Senior Accountant with direct hotel industry experience to support client onboarding, streamline accounting operations, and customize accounting workflows for hotel and hospitality businesses. This is a fully remote role and a key position within our growing team. This role requires hands-on experience working with hotel accounting systems, revenue structures, and operational reporting. Candidates without prior hotel industry accounting experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support hotel client onboarding
, including setup of accounting systems and workflows - Customize and streamline accounting processes specific to hotel operations
- Manage and review financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Work with hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and revenue management platforms
- Ensure compliance with hospitality accounting standards and best practices
- Prepare and review hotel-specific reports (daily revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, etc.)
- Identify process improvements and implement scalable accounting solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency and client experience
- Act as a subject-matter expert for hotel accounting and financial operation
- Senior-level accounting experience (5+ years preferred)
- Direct hotel industry accounting experience is REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of hotel accounting, including revenue, payroll, and departmental reporting
- Experience onboarding hotel clients and setting up accounting systems
- Proficiency with hotel and accounting software (Quick Books, Sage, M3, Opera, Maestro, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
